کروکودیل*ها موج*سواری می*کنند


گروهی از جانورشناسان دریافتند کروکودیل*ها شناگران خوبی نیستند اما برای رسیدن به خانه از طریق آب*های اقیانوسی می*توانند موج*سواری کنند. نوعی از کروکودیل*هاي دریایی به نام crocodylus porosus که
به عنوان بزرگترین خزندگان دنیا شناخته می*شوند (طول آنها می*تواند به بیش از شش متر برسد)
به هیچ وجه شناگر خوبی نیستند اما می*توانند مسافت*های دور را از راه دریا طی کنند بطوری که این جانوران می*توانند از اقیانوس هند تا اقیانوس اطلس را بپمایند و خود را به جزیره*ای بسیار دور در فاصله صدها کیلومتری از محل زندگی خود برسانند. به همین منظور این سؤال از سال*ها قبل جانورشناسان را به خود مشغول کرده بود که با وجود قدرت شناگری محدود، این جانور عظیم*الجثه چگونه می*تواند دریاها را پشت سر بگذارد.
