تکميل نقشه ژنتيکی موش

با تلاش دانشمندان نقشه ژنتيکي موش تکميل شد آنان همچنین دریافتند که ۷۵ درصد ژن هاي موش با انسان مشترک است.

موش بار سنگيني را در زمينه تحقيقات پزشکي در آزمايشگاه هاي سراسر جهان بردوش مي کشد، به همين دليل اين نقشه که کيفيت آن عالي توصيف شده مي تواند در نبرد با بيماري هاي انساني موثر باشد.
درک بهتر رمز ژنتيکي موش، که حدود ۷۵ درصد ژن هاي آن شبيه انسان است، مي تواند به جستجو براي کشف معالجات نوين کمک کند.
يک گروه بين المللي از پژوهشگران جزييات اين پروژه را در نشريه علمي “PLoS Biology” که مطالب آن در دسترس همگان است چاپ کرد.
اين نقشه حاوي اطلاعات کامل مواد ژنتيکي موجود در هسته يک سلول است. اين در عمل “کتابچه دستور ساخت” ژنتيکي يک موجود زنده است.
اين موش (Mus musculus) دومين پستاندار پس از انسان است که نقشه کامل ژنتيکي آن تهيه مي شود.
البته نقشه ابتدايي از سلسله ژن هاي شامپانزه، سگ، گربه، ميمون ماکاک و حتي پلاتيپوس قبلا منتشر شده بود.
موش حيواني است که اغلب براي درک بهتر بيماري هاي انساني و چگونگي پديدار شدن اين بيماري ها مورد مطالعه قرار مي گيرد.
پژوهش هاي انجام شده به کمک موش آزمايشگاهي به پيشرفت هايي در معالجه سرطان، ديابت، بيماري قلبي و بسياري ديگر از امراض منجر شده است.
دکتر ليو گوداستات از شوراي تحقيقات پزشکي (ام آر سي) در دانشگاه آکسفورد گفت: “حالا که رو به عقب نگاه مي کنيم مي بينيم که تصوير ما از نقشه ژنتيکي موش ناقص بود.”
وي افزود: “فقط وقتي همه قطعات گمشده پازل پر شد تشخيص داديم که شمار بزرگي از ژن هايي که فقط در موش يافت مي شود، نه در انسان، جا افتاده است.”
پژوهشگران توانستند بيش از ۲۰ هزار ژن را که حاوي رمز پروتيين هاست در موش شناسايي کنند. حدود پنج هزار ژن در موش هست که پس از جدايي اجداد انسان و موش از يکديگر ظاهر شد.
فرآيند تهيه نقشه ژنتيکي موش در سال ۱۹۹۹ آغاز شد و نقشه ابتدايي آن در سال ۲۰۰۲ منتشر شد.
هزينه اين پروژه که مراکزي در آمريکا و انگليس آن را تقبل کرده اند بيش از ۱۰۰ ميليون دلار بوده است.
