سخت زايی

سخت زايی عبارت است از طولانی شدن مرحله اول و مخصوصاً مرحله دوم زايمان.

قبل از تعيين استراتژی درمان سخت زايی مي بايست تاريخچه دقيقی از وضعيت دام بدانيم مانند زمان تلقيح- سوابق زايمانهای قبلی - سوابق بيماريهای دام - داروهای به کارگرفته شده و. . . .

مرحله بعدی انجام معاينات دقيق دام مورد نظر مي باشد. اين معاينات به دو دسته معاينات عمومی (مانند درجه حرارت - تعداد ضربان قلب - وضعيت ظاهری - وضعيت تنفسی و ...) و معاينات تخصصی مربوط به دستگاه تناسلی مادر و وضعيت جنين، تقسيم مي شود.

استراتژی درمان سخت زايی:

اعمال مامايی در سخت زايی در حالت ١) معمولا ايستاده خيلی موفقيت آميزتر مي باشد در نتيجه اگر گاوی خوابيده است به هر وسيله ای (مانند دادن شوک ) آن را بلند مي کنيم.

٢) قبل از هر نوع دستکاری مي بايست يکسری اقدامات مقدماتی صورت پذيرد مانند تجويز زايلوکائين و اکسی تتراسيکلين و شستشوی خارجی دستگاه تناسلی مادر. حتماً قبل از عمل توشه رکتال ، مي بايست از مواد لوبری کان مانند پارافين بعلاوه يک آنتی بيوتيک استفاده نمود.

در هنگام توشه رکتال مي بايست واژن و سرويکس را در مورد بروز هر مشکلی بررسی نمود و از زنده بودن جنين مطمئن شد. به اين منظور مي توان انگشت را وارد

دهان جنين آرد و مک زدن جنين را احساس نمود و يا با وارد نمودن انگشت در داخل رکتوم، انقباضات آنرا احساس ک رد و يا با فشار دادن بدن حيوان شاهد تکان خوردن آن بود.
