دکتر هومن ملوک*پور- جراح و دامپزشک - درباره پیشگویی هشت*پای معروف پیرامون نتیجه مسابقات فوتبال جام جهانی گفت: یکسری توانایی*هایی که حیوانات دارند از نظر ما خارق العاده است و در بعضی از موارد از توانایی ما خارج است و یا برخی از حیوانات هستند که زلزله را زودتر از آن*که ما متوجه شویم می*فهمند و می*توانند پیش بینی کنند و علایم را نشان دهند. بنابراین بعضی از کارها را حیوانات می توانند انجام دهند که آن نیز به دلیل قدرتی است که خالق در نهادشان قرار داده است یعنی وقتی علت آن را متوجه می*شوید مساله چندان پیچیده*ای نیست.

ملوک*پور افزود: بر همین اساس پیش بینی نتایج مسابقات فوتبال توسط هشت پا (اختاپوس) چیزی کاملا خارج از دایره علمی است به دلیل آن*که اولا اختاپوس یا هشت پا از حیواناتی است که پایین*ترین درجه رشد مغزی را دارد و اینکه همین اختاپوس در ابتدای مسابقات پیش بینی کرده بود که آلمان قهرمان این دوره از مسابقات جام جهانی می*باشد اشتباه در پیش بینی*هایش بوده است.

این جراح و دامپزشک عنوان کرد: فکر می*کنم این مسائل بیش*تر همان سوءاستفاده*های انسان از حیوان است که در بعضی از اوقات خود را به این شکل نشان می*دهد. حیوانات را به راحتی می*توان شرطی کرد مانند حیواناتی که در سیرک هستند که معمولا با گرسنه نگهداشتن نیز این کار را انجام می*دهند.

وی درباره این*که آیا این مساله می*تواند آموزش دادن حیوان باشد، اظهار کرد: حتما همین*طور بوده است زیرا حیوانات هوش ندارند یعنی هیچ موجودی به غیر از انسان، میمون و تا حدودی دلفین هوش ندارد و تعریف هوش یعنی سرعت استنتاج به عبارتی موجودی مانند انسان می تواند از یک A و B حرف C را نتیجه*گیری کند اما هیچ حیوانی توانایی انجام این کار را ندارد و حیوانات تنها می*توانند شرطی شوند و از A به B برسند.

ملوک*پور خاطرنشان کرد: اما در مورد پیش بینی نتایج مسابقات فوتبال باید عنوان کرد که هر تیمی که در این مسابقات شرکت می*کند هشت بازی را انجام می*دهد و احتمال دارد فردی در قرعه کشی و شرط بندی*هایی که انجام می دهد هشت نظر درست داده باشد که در واقع شانس یک فرد است به هر حال این موارد نیز می*تواند راهی برای پول درآوردن باشد، مساله دیگر آن*که فیلمی که از اختاپوس یا هشت پا نشان می*دهند چند بار از ان فیلم گرفته*اند که یک*بار درست و براساس نتیجه مدنظرشان بوده است که پخش کرده*اند.

وی خاطرنشان کرد: به عنوان کسی که رفتارشناسی حیوانات را می*شناسد نمی*توانم از نظر علمی بار علمی به این مساله دهم که یک حیوان توانایی پیش*گویی آینده را هم در این مساله داشته باشد.
