پيشگيري از بيماري هاي سگ

پنج بیماری کشنده سگها را مبتلا می کنند و هرصاحب سگ آگاهی باید حیوان خودرا دراولین فرصت ممکن درمقابل آنها حفاظت کند.
این بیماریها عبارتند از:
1- دیستمپر سگ
2- سخت شدن پنجه ها
3- تورم کبد ویروسی
4- یرقان لپتوسپیرایی
5- عفونت پارواویروسی
برنامه عادی برای واکسیناسیون وحفظ سلامت عمومی بایستی بدین گونه باشد:
درسن شش هفتگی
توله را نزد دکتردامپزشک خود ببرید. او حیوان را از نظرکک،شپش،جربهای گوش وهرناهنجاری آشکاری مانند فتق یا برگشتگی پلکها به داخل(انتروپیون) بدقت معاینه می کند. چنانچه هریک ازاین موارد وجود داشته باشد او به شیوه مناسبی با آنها برخورد خواهد نمود انگلها را درمان می کند وزمان مناسبی را برای تصحیح نقایص پیشنهاد می نماید. او دقت درتغذیه را توصیه خواهد نمود وداروی ضد کرم را خواهد خورانید ودرهمان موقع داروی نوبت دوم را نیزنسخه خواهد کرد تا ده روزبعد خورانیده شود.اگرکمترین تردیدی دراین مورد که توله کاملاً درمنزل یا باغ صاحب خورمحصوراست وجود داشته باشد دکتردامپزشک واکسن سرخک را به داخل عضله توله تزریق خواهد نمود. واکسن سرخک ایمنی بسیارخوبی را برعلیه دیستمپرو سختی پنجه ها ایجاد می کند ولی این ایمنی تنها چند هفته دوام می یابد ونباید ازآن انتظارمحافظت همیشگی داشت. واکسن پارواویروس رانیز می توان دراین مرحله تجویزکرد ولی دراین صورت بایستی تزریق دوم درسن 15 هفتگی انجام شود.

درسن نه هفتگی
این سن زمان مناسبی برای دومین مراجعه به دکتردامپزشک شما است وشاید مهمترین زمان درزندگی توله سگ شما باشد. اگرتوله کاملا سالم است دکتردامپزشک شما نخستین نوبت" واکسن ترکیبی دیستمپرو سختی پنجه ها / لپتوسپیرا / تورم کبد" را تزریق خواهد کرد. اوهمچنین به شما خواهد گفت که حیوان خود را تا زمانی که تزریق دوم انجام نشده است جدا ازسگهای دیگرنگاه دارید. چنانچه توله درنه هفتگی تب داشته باشد یا سرفه کند یا دچاراختلال گوارشی باشد دکتردامپزشک شما پیش ازتلقیح واکسن این عوارض را معالجه ودرمان خواهد نمود.
درسن 12 – 11 هفتگی
یک باردیگر به دکتردامپزشک که حالا با شما آشنا شده است مراجعه کنید. این مرتبه او واکسن یادآور را برعلیه لپتوسپیروز تجویز خواهد کرد وتوله شما را کاملا معاینه خواهد نمود تا مطمئن شود که کلیه ناهنجاریهایی که درهفته ششم وجود داشت کاملا ازمیان رفته اند.
درسن 15 هفتگی
واکسن پارواویروس تزریق می شود.
درسن شش ماهگی
یک بارمراجعه دیگر به دکتردامپزشک دراین سن بسیار شایسته خواهد بود. او دهان توله را معاینه خواهد کرد تا مطمئن شود که دندانهای همیشگی بدرستی جایگزین دندانهای شیری شده اند وشاید جرم گیری منظم دندانها را برای پیشگیری ازپوسیدگی آنها پیشنهاد نماید. اودرهمین زمان وضعیت عمومی حیوان را بررسی خواهد کرد ورژیم غذایی مناسب وفعالیت جسمانی روزانه را یادآوری خواهد نمود.
سالیانه
اگرچه بعضی از واکسنهای جدید برای دوسال ایمنی ایجاد می کنند بهترین کاراین است که هر12ماه یک تزریق یادآور برعلیه بیماریهای کشنده انجام شود. مراجعه برای تزریق واکسن یادآور به دکتردامپزشک شما این فرصت را می دهد تا سلامت عمومی حیوان را بررسی کند وتوصیه هایی را درمورد دندانها،انگلها،اضافه وزن و غیره نماید. بنابراین در مجموع چنانچه شما این برنامه ساده پیشگیری را بدقت انجام دهید مطمئنا عمری طولانی را بدون ابتلا به بیماریهای کشنده که هریک ازآنها حداقل یک ناخوشی طولانی وخطرناک را ایجاد می کنند به حیوان خود هدیه خواهید نمود. درحقیقت علی رغم دسترسی ما به طیف وسیعی ازآنتی بیوتیکهای جدید، درمان دیستمپر، سختی پنجه ها، تورم کبد و لپتوسپیروز بندرت موفقیت آمیزاست. پارواویروس را می توان درسگهای بالغ درمان کرد ولی درتوله ها معمولا کشنده است
