گاندو را میشناسید

بسیاری از نقاط جهان تنها به خاطر آن*که زیستگاه یک حیوان خاص هستند، زبانزد خاص و عام شده*اند. وجود حیوانات خاصی که در معرض خطر هستند یا دیدنشان بسختی صورت می*گیرد، هیجان خاصی را برای طبیعت دوستان به وجود می*آورد تا هر طور شده آن حیوان را از نزدیک ببینند.
مثلا گردشگر طبیعی از قلب نیویورک در قاره آمریکا هزاران هزار کیلومتر را می*پیماید تا به شرقی ترین نقطه قاره سیاه برود و یک شیر ماده را در حال شیر دادن به توله*اش در پارک ملی سرنگتی تانزانیا از نزدیک ببیند. دیدن چنددقیقه*ای شیر دادن یک شیر به توله*اش چرخه*ای از هزینه*ها را در بر می*گیرد که گردشگر پولدار (یا حتی نه*چندان پولدار) برای دیدنش با رغبت هرچه تمام*تر آنها را هزینه کرده است. در این بین کشورهایی برنده اصلی هستند که پارک*های طبیعی راه* انداخته*اند تا به جای جولان شکارچی*ها در طبیعت، عرصه*ای را برای حضور گردشگران در طبیعت فراهم سازند.
از تانزانیا به ایران بیایید. ایران نیز یکی از همین کشورهاست که می*تواند میزبان گردشگران طبیعی باشد. در این یادداشت قرار نیست از ببر مازندران، یوزپلنگ ایرانی و خرس سیاه و قهوه*ای ایرانی و حتی گور ایرانی سخن به میان آوریم که چندتایی از آنها مانده است و دیدنشان اصلا میسر نیست، بلکه می*خواهیم کمی بیشتر با گاندو*ها به عنوان خجالتی*ترین تمساح*های جهان که دست بر قضا در کشور ما زندگی می*کنند، آشنا شویم. گاندو*ها حیوانات کمیابی هستند که هم می*توان بسادگی از نزدیک دیدشان و هم به*واسطه آن*که تنها در منطقه بلوچستان زندگی می*کنند، می*توانند به عنوان تنها تمساح ایرانی حتی در فهرست میراث طبیعی ثبت ملی شوند.

گاندو*ها در واقع تنها تمساح پوزه باریک ایران هستند که به واسطه خشکسالی*های مکرر در جنوب شرقی ایران کم*کم نسلشان در معرض خطر قرار گرفته است. شهرستان سرباز در سیستان و بلوچستان به خاطر وجود رود و نخلستان*های سرسبز، زیستگاه طبیعی گاندوهاست، شهر سرباز به چابهار هم نزدیک است و براحتی می*تواند گردشگران بسیاری را جذب کند.
