قارچ*ها به اسلحه*اي مرموز و مخفي مجهز هستند


محققان معتقدند ميكروب*هاي بيماري*زاي قارچي و باكتريايي بخوبي مي*توانند گياهان، جانوران و حتي انسان*ها را با وجود داشتن سيستم*هاي ايمني خلع سلاح كرده و آلوده كنند. قارچ*ها به درون برگ*ها، ساقه*ها، ريشه*ها يا پوست و روده و ريه*ها نفوذ مي*كنند تا ميزبانان خود را آلوده كنند.

محققان دانشگاه واگنينگن هلند با همكاري دستياران ژاپني خود چگونگي اين توانايي شگفت*انگيز قارچ*ها را كشف كرده*اند. اين محققان دريافته*اند كه قارچ*ها داراي پروتئيني هستند كه اين پروتئين مرموز، ديواره سلول*هاي قارچي را نامرئي مي*كند، در نتيجه سيستم* ايمني بدن ميزبان قادر به شناسايي آن نخواهد بود و عفونت بدون ديده شدن، باقي مي*ماند. به گفته محققان، تقريباً تمام انواع قارچ*ها به اين سلاح اسرارآميز مجهز هستند.
