آیا IIV6 و نوزما سبب نابودی کلونی های زنبورهای عسل میشوند ؟

مرگ ناگهانی کلونی های زنبور عسل از اواخر سال 2006 میلادی ، اندکی دانشمندان را نگران کرد . اما محققان رشته زیست شناسی در دانشگاه تگزاس بر این باورند که امروزه بشر ، مدارک بیشتری را از نابودی کلونی های زنبور عسل در اختیار دارد و قادر است تا این پدیده ها را تفسیر نماید . برخی از انواع ویروسها یا قارچها توانایی آن را دارند که میلونها عدد از زنبورهای عسل را نابود نمایند و تلف کنند . نگرانی دانشمندان از بروز این فاجعه ، از زمانی افزایش یافته است که کشاورزی در بسیاری از نقاط دنیا ، تا حدودی به گرده افشانی این حشرات وابسته شده است .Bilimoria از محققین پروزه بررسی علت مرگ زنبورها گفت : در حال حاضر این نکته به اثبات رسیده است که ارتباط بسیار زیادی میان مرگ زنبورها و وجود برخی ویروسها و قارچ ها وجود دارد . اما این نکته بدان معنا نیست که ما علت و معلول را یافته ایم . این تیم تحقیقاتی با استفاده از تجهیزات تحلیلی و همچنین شواهد اسپکتروسکوپی به وجود ویروس IIV و همچنین ، نوزما پی برده اند .

Bilimoria در مورد این عوامل بیماری زا گفت : عوامل فوق در 20 سال گذشته ، سبب نابودی جمعیت زیادی از زنبورهای کشور هند شده است . این در حالیست که بر اساس نظریات مطرح شده قبلی ، ویروسی با RNA سبب بروز این ضایعات میشود حال آنکه ویروس IIV6 با DNA میباشد . این یافته سبب شده است تا مسیر تحقیقات فوق تغییر کند . این محقق در خاتمه این نکته را یادآور شد که بایستی این عوامل بیماری زا از کلونی های زنبورهای عسل جدا شده و سپس در شرایط آزمایشگاهی به کلونی های دیگری وارد شوند و اثرات آنها مورد ارزیابی قرار گیرند تا بتوان به اظهار نظر قطعی در این مورد ، دست یافت .
