در اكثر بيماران مبتلا به اين انگل علامتي ديده نمي*شود اما در بعضي از افراد مبتلا علائمي نظير كاهش* وزن* غير منتظره، اسهال، علائم كم*خوني نظير ضعف*، خستگي*، تنگي* تنفس* و درد قسمت بالاي* شكم* نيز ديده مي*شود. عضو هيئت علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي مشهد گفت: خوردن* گوشت* قرمز يا ماهي كه به خوبي پخته نشده باشد مهمترين علت ايجاد كرم نواري در انسان است.عبدالمجيد فتي در گفت*وگو با فارس اظهار داشت: "كرم* نواري " يكي از انگل*هاي نسبتاً شايع در انسان است كه لوله دستگاه گوارش را آلوده مي*كند.
وي گفت: خوردن* گوشت* قرمز يا ماهي كه به خوبي پخته نشده باشد مهمترين علت ايجاد كرم نواري در انسان است كه فرد را بيمار خواهد كرد اما اين بيماري به ديگر افراد سرايت نمي*كند.
عضو هيئت علمي دانشگاه علوم پزشكي مشهد در مورد علائم ابتلا به كرم نواري تصريح كرد: در اكثر بيماران مبتلا به اين انگل علامتي ديده نمي*شود اما در بعضي از افراد مبتلا علائمي نظير كاهش* وزن* غير منتظره، اسهال، علائم كم*خوني نظير ضعف*، خستگي*، تنگي* تنفس* و درد قسمت بالاي* شكم* نيز ديده مي*شود.
فتي ادامه داد: در بيماران مبتلا به كرم نواري بيشتر درمان دارويي صورت مي*گيرد و براي تشخيص اين بيماري مدفوع* در آزمايشگاه* براي* شناسايي* كرم*مورد بررسي انجام* مي*گيرد.
استاد گروه انگل و قارچ *شناسي دانشگاه امام رضا(ع) مشهد، براي پيشگيري از ابتلا به انگل كرم نواري توصيه كرد: بايد ماهي و گوشت* قرمز خصوصاً گوشت گاو به خوبي پخته شود همچنين از گوشت*هايي كه داراي* مهر كنترل* توسط* سازمان* دامپزشكي* است استفاده شود ضمن اينكه قبل* از غذاخوردن* دست*ها با آب و صابون با دقت شسته شود.
