راههای پیشگیری از ابتلا به عفونت ناشی از کرمهای حلقوی

مرکز کنترل و پیشگیری امراض آمریکا تایید می*کند که شایع*ترین نوع عفونت*های انگلی در این کشور، عفونت ناشی از کرم*های حلقوی است. این عفونت می*تواند افراد را در هر گروه سنی و موقعیت اجتماعی ـ اقتصادی مبتلا کند. هر چند که طبق آمار مرکز کنترل و پیشگیری امراض آمریکا، نرخ ابتلا به آن در بین کودکان مدرسه*ای و دانش*آموزان به مراتب بیشتر است. معمول*ترین راه انتقال این عفونت زمانی است که فرد انگشتان خود را پس از تماس با سطح آلوده وارد دهان کند.
به گفته پزشکان، انسان*ها تنها میزبان شناخته شده کرم*های حلقوی هستند، در حالی که حیوانات خانگی به این انگل مبتلا نمی*شوند.
به گزارش سایت پزشکی مایو کلینیک، در این مقاله چندین راهکار برای کاهش خطر ابتلا به این عفونت انگلی ارائه شده است.
کارشناسان بهداشت عمومی این مرکز پزشکی و تخصصی در آمریکا توصیه می*کنند؛ شستن صحیح و مناسب دست*ها به ویژه* اگر با آب صابون قبل از خوردن غذا و پس از اجابت مزاج باشد در امر پیشگیری بسیار موثر است.
نکته بهداشتی و مهم دیگر کوتاه و تمیز نگهداشتن ناخن*ها است. همچنین متخصصان تاکید دارند که از جویدن ناخن*ها جلوگیری کنید.
کودکان را روزانه استحمام کرده و لباس*های زیر را روزانه تعویض کنید. همچنین توصیه می*شود که تمام لباس*ها و پوشاک زیر را به طور منظم با آب داغ بشویید.
