گربه با چشمان قرمز ممكن است مبتلا به تعدادي مشكلات سلامتي از جمله: كوري تدريجي، سوزش، نقايص مادرزادي، يا خونريزي در داخل يا خارج چشم باشد.

درمان قرمزی چشم

با استفاده از محلول نمك خانگي چشمها را تميز كنيد و ذرات خارجي را با آب بشوييد در اين صورت سوزش و التهاب تسكين مي*يابد.

بدين صورت كه: مخلوط يك چهارم قاشق سوپ خوري نمك با يك فنجان آب ولرم و شستشوي چشم ها سه يا چهار بار در روز با استفاده از پنبه.

مواردجدی قرمزی چشم بایدتوسط دامپزشک برای یک تشخیص صحیح مشاهده شود. دامپزشک شما ممکن است آنتی بیوتیک، قطره چشمي يا آزمايشات بيشتر براي تعيين علل تجويز كند.

دادن قطره چشمي به گربه*تان

وقتي كه دامپزشك شما تهيه قطره چشم را تجويز ميكند، اين مهم است كه براي جلوگيري از هرگونه خراشيدن و گاز گرفتگي، گربه را مهار كنيد.

اين كار با پيچيدن حوله يا پارچه دور گربه و خواباندن او روي ميز يا در آغوشتان بهتر انجام ميشود.

دستتان را سرتاسر بدنش قرار دهيد و همان دست را براي نگهداري از سرش و باز كردن چشم با انگشت شستتان استفاده كنيد.

با دست ديگر خود، قطره چشمي را تقريبا از دو سانتي متر بالاتر از چشم نگه داريد و مطمئن شويد كه روي كره*ي چشم فشار نمي آوريد. دوز تجويز شده*ي قطره را پايين چشم بريزيد
