مكانيسم اثر: اثر ضدتيلريوزي بيوپارواكوان مربوط به ممانعت و جلوگيري از انتقال الكتروني در زنجير تنفسي انگل است. با توجه به اينكه در انتقال الكترون زنجيره تنفسي تيلريا، آنزيم*هاي مخصوصي دخالت دارند و توانايي و ضرورت استفاده انگل از اين آنزيم*ها حدود 10هزار برابر بيشتر از پستانداران است. بنابراين بدون آنكه به دام صدمه*اي وارد آيد با اين مكانيسم انگل*ها از بين مي*روند.
فارماكوكينتيك: پس از تزريق عضلاني بيوپارواكوان با دوز مناسب، پس از گذشت 3 ساعت و هفده دقيقه غلظت دارو در پلاسما به 102/0http://irvet.com/pages/drug/drug57_files/image002.gif 03/0 ميلي*گرم در ليتر مي*رسد. پايين آمدن غلظت دارو در پلاسما به تدريج صورت مي*گيرد. و نيمه*عمر دارو 26 ساعت و 44 دقيقه مي*باشد.
موارد مصرف: بيوپاروكوان در درمان تيلر يوز ناشي از گونه*هاي مختلف تيلريا مانند تيلريا آنولاتا «T.annulata» كه به عنوان مولد بيماري تيلريوز در ايران شناخته شده است و تيلريا پارواپاروا «T.parvaparvaroa»، تيلرياموتانس تيلريا پاروالاورنسي، تيلرياپاروابويس و تيلر يا سرجنتي به كار مي*رود.
مقدار و روش مصرف: در حالت معمولي يكبار تزريق بيوپارواكوان به مقدار 5/2 ميلي*گرم به ازاي هر كيلوگرم وزن بدن «ml1براي 20 كيلوگرم وزن» كافي است. اما در مواردي كه بيماري بسيار شديد باشد و يا شيوع بيماري زياد باشد يعني مقدار را مي*توان بعد از 48 الي 72 ساعت مجدداً تكرار نمود. اين دارو فقط بايد از طريق عضله گردن تزريق شده و در هر بار تزريق بيش از ml10 از دارو در يك نقطه تزريق نشود.
زمان پرهيز از مصرف: شير 48 ساعت گوشت: 42روز پس از آخرين تزريق
