ویتامین های مورد نیاز طوطی خاکستری

برای تضمین سلامت طوطی خاکستری خود باید اطمینان حاصل کنید که رژیم غذایی کامل و مغذی دارند.

ویتامین A

طوطی های خاکستری برای سیستم ایمنی خود به شدت به ویتامین A وابسته اند. غذاهای مغذی از ویتامینAاز بیماری های نقص ایمنی جلوگیری می کند.

علائم چنین بیماری هایی عبارتند از: عطسه، سختی تنفس، کم سویی رنگ پرها یا چشم های پف کرده.

غالب میوه ها و سبزیجاتی که سرشار از ویتامین A هستند به رنگ رنگ نارنجی سیر و سبز تیر هستند.

بزرگترین منبع این ویتامین کلم برگ (kale) و dandelion است. برگ کلم بروکلی و هویج نیز حاوی ویتامین A هستند. انبه، سیب زمینی شیرین و کدو حلوایی هم ویتامین A دارند.

ویتامین D

کمبود ویتامین D در طوطی ها موجب بیماری هایی همچون سندرم Hypocalcaemia می شود که با رسیدن طوطی به سن دو تا پنج سالگی خود را نشان می دهد.

ویتامین D3 مصرف و جذب کلسیم و فسفر کافی در اعضای بدن را بر می انگیزد.

زرده ی تخم مرغ خوب آب پز شده و سیب زمینی شیرین سرشار از ویتامین D3 هستند. نور آفتاب شکل گیری این ویتامین در بدن طوطی را موجب می شود.

بهتر است طوطی روزانه پنج تا هفت ساعت در معرض نور خورشید قرار گیرد (البته نه نور مستقیم یا شدید).

کلسیم

کلسیم برای خاکستری ها بسیار حیاتی است زیرا آنها مستعد کاهش کلسیم در خونشان هستند.

میوه ها و سبزیجات سرشار از کلسیم مثل کلم بروکلی، سیب زمینی و کلم برگ ها درصد کلسیم خون طوطی را بالا می برد.

Dandelionها (شیر دندان)، اسفناج چینی و بادام نیز منابع خوبی هستند. پوسته ی تخم مرغ آب پز و نخود/لوبیا خوب پخته شده هم حاوی کلسیم هستند.

مصرف مفید کلسیم نیازمند میزان متعادلی از ویتامین D3، فسفر و منیزیم است.

ویتامین C

ویتامین C یا اسید آسکوربیک مثل یک آنتی اکسیدان عمل کرده و استرس را تسکین می دهد و از هیستامین جلوگیری می کتد.

غذاهای مناسب حاوی ویتامین C عبارتند از: توت فرنگی و پرتغال. سبزیجاتی مانند گل کلم، نخود و مارچوبه نیز حاوی ویتامین C هستند.
