مسمومیت ناشی از سرب میتواند منجر به مرگ در گربه سانان گردد.

منابع سرب:
منابع مختلف و راههای گوناگونی میتواند منجر به مسمومیت با سرب در گربه سانان شود. بسیاری از محصولاتی که ممکن است باعث مسمومست شوند در زیر نام برده میشوند:

قلاده های رنگی حاوی سرب
باتری های اتومبیل حاوی اسید سرب
تجهیزات لوله کشی
برخی از کفپوش ها
فویل
اسباب بازی های فلزی
ظروف غذاهای سرامیکی که لعابی ناقص دارند
لحیم
ترکیب قلع وسرب
گریس

در صورتیکه هریک از این محصولات در محل زندگی گربه یافت میشوند، میبایست آنها را در جایی امن و به دور از دسترس گربه نگهداری کنید.


علائم مسمومیت با سرب:
مسمومیت با سرب عمدتا دستگاه گوارش و سیستم عصبی را تحت تاثیر قرار میدهد. از دست دادن اشتها، سرازیر شدن بزاق دهان، اسهال و
استفراغ، اسپاسم عضلانی، درد شکم و تشنج از علائم این نوع مسمومیت میباشند.

تشخیص مسمومیت با سرب:
هنگامیکه متوجه هر گونه مسمومیت در گربه شدید،سریعا او را به دامپزشک برسانید. هرگونه تاخیر در رساندن او میتواند آسیب جدی به دستگاه گوارش و سیستم عصبی او وارد کند. بهترین راه شناخت مسموست با سرب، آزمایش خون میباشد.
درمان مسمومیت با سرب:
مسمومیت ناشی از سرب میتواند بر دستگاه گوارش و سیستم عصبی تاثیر گذاشته و ارگانهای داخلی را تضعیف کند و اگر مسمومیت تشخیص داده نشود میتواند منجر به مرگ شود.
مسمومیت ناشی از سرب به طور معمول با تحت درمان قرار میگیرد.
قبل از پایان دوره درمان دامپزشک با آزمایش خون مجدد، از عادی شدن سطح سرب در خون مطمئن خواهد شد.

جلوگیری از مسمومیت با سرب:
با حذف محصولات و مواد سرب دار و یا دور نگهداشتن انها از دسترس گربه، کمک بزرگی در حفظ سلامتی او خواهید کرد.
