گربه فولد اسکاتلندی

تاریخچه:موطن این نژاد همانگونه که از نامش بر می آید کشور اسکاتلند می باشد. مکانی که اولین بار این نژاد در آن مشاهده شده است.

فولد اسکاتلندی به دلیل فرم گوشهایش در آمریکا و انگلستان شهرت زیادی دارد.

خلق و خو:اگرچه فولد اسکاتلندی گاهی اوقات رفتارهای عجیبی از خود نشان می دهد اما غالباً آرام است.

رابطه خوبی با کودکان ، گربه ها و سایر حیوانات دارد. شاید اینطور به نظر رسد که فولد اسکاتلندی به دلیل فرم گوشهایش در شنیدن مشکل دارد اما باید دانست که این فرضیه صحت ندارد.

توضیحات:از لحاظ جثه به گربه مو کوتاه انگلیسی (English Shorthair) شباهت دارد با این تفاوت که گوشها خم و به سمت پایین می باشند.

همانند تمامی نژادهای مناطق سرد سیر، گوشها با فاصله نسبت به یکدیگر قرار دارند.پوشش و چشمها در هر رنگی یافت می شوند.
