تاریخچه:این نژاد مو کوتاه حاصل تأثیر ژنهایی است که تنها در آمریکا وجود داشته اند.

این نژاد دارای گوشهای فر خورده به سمت عقب می باشد که برعکسش را می توان در نژاد اِسکاتیش فولد (Scottish Fold) مشاهده نمود.

به هر حال ژنهای بوجود آورنده این نژاد با ژنهای به وجود آورنده نژاد رکس (Rex) با اِسکاتیش فولد (Scottish Fold) متفاوت است.

خلق و خو:دارای خلق و خوی اجتماعی ، رفتار دوستانه ، نیرومند و خوش بنیه با قابلیت تطابق زیاد با محیط جدید می باشد و این خصوصیات او را به یک حیوان خانگی مناسب و خوب تبدیل کرده است.

توضیحات:دارای جثه ای با طول متوسط و سر گرد می باشد ، گوشها عضلانی و با فاصله نسبت به یکدیگر قرار گرفته اند.

طول صورت در این نژاد به کوتاهی گربه های انگلیسی نیست. به رنگهای متنوعی اعم از سیاه ، قهوه ای ، خال خال و یا چند رنگ یافت می شود.

گوشها در این گونه یه طرز عجیبی عقب رفته و پیچ دار است
