غدد بویایی گربه

گربه ها از حس بويايي براي مشخص کردن قلمروشان استفاده مي کنند. خوشبختانه ما بوهاي مربوط به آنها را متوجه نمي شويم و با توجه به احساس اوليه بويايي انسان درک بوهاي ديگر و فهميدن چيزها بوسيله بو غير قابل تشخيص است.

شايد هر چيزي که گربه با بو کردن تشخيص دهد براي شما غير قابل درک باشد. بر روي لبها، پوزه و چانه حيوان غدد بويايي بسيار قوي وجود دارد که وقتي آنها پوزه يا لبشان را به چيزهايي که بو مي کنند مي مالند باعث تشخيص آن مواد به وسيله اين غدد بويايي مي شود.

هنگامي که شما از در وارد مي شويد و گربه تصميم مي گيرد که دور پاهاي شما بگردد يا خودش را روي زمين به سمت شما بکشد در واقع بو مي کند و شما مي فهميد که اين مربوط به من است.

شايد گربه ها نيز خيال مي کنند که ما نيز وقتي آنها را نوازش مي کنيم با بو به آنها علامت مي دهيم.

خراش دادن راه ديگري براي گربه هاست. براي اينکه چيزها را با بو مشخص کنند. بر روي پنجه هايشان غدد بويايي قوي وجود دارد و آنها به طور موثري چيزها را با پنجه زدن مشخص مي کنند.

و اين همان دليل چنگ زدن گربه به اجزا مي باشد. يک راه ديگر نيز براي گربه ها وجود دارد تا بوسيله آن چيزها را مشخص کنند، آن با استفاده از ادرارشان است.

اين روش چندان براي مردم خوشايند نمي باشد زيرا به نظر مي رسد ادرار گربه بالغ نفرت انگيزترين بوي حاضر در جهان است.
