تاخیر در زایمان سگ

طول آبستنی به طورثابت 66-64 روزبعد ازحداکثرمیزان lh است .
* با این وجود بسته به زمان اندازه گیری اززمان اولین یا آخرین جفت گیری طول آبستنی می تواند بسیارمتغیرباشد .
* طولانی شدن بیش ازانتظار مدت آبستنی ممکن است به علل زیرباشد:
الف ) سگ چندین روزبعد ازتخمک گذاری جفت گیری کرده باشد. دراین حالت هنوزامکان آبستنی وجود دارد.
ب ) سگ آبستن نباشد. این موضوع را می توان به وسیله رادیوگرافی یا اولتراسونوگرافی بررسی کرد.
پ ) تاریخ جفت گیری نادرست باشد.
ت ) طول مدت آبستنی غلتا محاسبه شده باشد .
ث ) اینرسی اولیه رحم وجود داشته باشد .
5-13 مرحله اول زایمان
* ظرف مدت 3-2 روزقبل اززایمان سگ غالبا بی قراروگوشه گیراست واحتمالا درپاسخ به افزایش غلظت پرولاکتین غذا کم می خورد.
* شروع اولین مرحله را نمی توان دقیقا تشخیص داد.
* این مرحله جهت آماده شدن مادربرای مرحله خروج جنین است ( مرحله دوم).
* معمولا درپستانها شیروجود دارد.
* انقباضات رحم درابتدا چندان مکررنیست وگردن رحم بسته است. بعضی سگهای ماده دراثراین انقباضات بسیارمضطرب می شوند.
* شروع انقباضات رحم با کاهش غلظت پروژسترون خون مصادف است .
* به مجرد این که توله ها به گردن رحمی که درحال اتساع است فشاربیاورند انقباضات به تدریج شدیدتروفاصله بین انقباضات کمترمی شود.
* زمان اتساع کامل گردن رحم را نمی توان دقیقا مشخص کرد. چون مهبل سگ نسبتا بلند است.
* برای ارزیابی دقیق اتساع گردن رحم باید ازاندوسکوپ استفاده نمود.
* آلانتوکوربون اولین توله درمهبل پاره می شود حضورتوله ومایعات وپرده های اطرافش درمهبل معمولا فشارشکمی را تحریک می کند. گرچه بعضی توله ها بدون کوچکترین نشانه ای ازاین حالت به دنیا می آیند.
* شروع فشاربا ظاهرشدن مایع جنینی یا توله درمحل فرج تغییرازمرحله اول زایمان به مرحله دوم را مشخص می کند.
* انقباضات رحمی درطی مرحله اول زایمان ممکن است باعث موارد زیرشود:
الف ) بی قراری
ب ) بی اشتهایی
پ ) نفس نفس زدن و " نگاه مضطرب"
ث ) لرزیدن
ج ) نگاه کردن به پهلوها
چ ) لیسیدن فرج
ح ) استفراغ درصورتی که سگ به تازگی غذا خورده باشد
خ ) تورم وشل شدن فرج
د ) ظهورموکوس درفرج
ذ ) شل شدن شکم که ملامسه جنینها را آسانترمی سازد
تذکر: مدت زمان ( 36-0 ساعت ) شدت وخصوصیات رفتاری حتی درآبستنیهای متوالی یک سگ بسیار متفاوت است
