بیماری پاکس (آبله) کبوتر

این بیماری توسط نوعی ویروس بوجود می آید.این ویروس معمولا از اواخر تابستان و اوایل پاییز فعالیت بیشتری داشته و موجب بروز علائمی در کبوتر ها می گردد.

علائم این بیماری بر روی پلک کبوتر بصورت توده ای چرکی و زرد رنگ پدیدار می گردد.

این بیماری دو نوع علامت دارد:

۱-علائم پوستی ۲-علائم درونی

علائم پوستی بصورت لکه های زرد رنگی برروی نوک-چشم و بینی کبوتر قابل مشاهده است.ممکن است این دانه ها به حدی رشد کنند که باعث مرگ کبوتر گردند.

علائم درونی بصورت زائده ها و دانه هایی در دهان و درون بینی کبوتر پدیدار می شود.

برای پیشگیری از این بیماری می توان کبوتر را واکسینه نمود البته گمان نکنم واکسن این بیماری در ایران موجود باشد.
برای درمان به محض مشاهده علائم ۱سی سی پودر اکسی تتراساکلین را در ۱ لیتر آب حل کرده و بمدت ۳ روز در اختیار کبوتران قرار می دهید.البته نباید بگذارید که خیلی دیر شود و بیماری پیشرفت نماید.

روش فوق تنها باعث می گردد که باکتریها کمتر بتوانند در بدن کبوتر فعالیت کنند زیرا سیستم ایمنی بدن کبوتر توسط ویروس تضعیف گردیده است.در خلال ۳ روزی که پودر تتراسایکلین را به پرنده ها می خورانید

ویوله دو ژانسین را از داروخانه انسانی تهیه کرده و گوش پاک کن را به این ماده آغشته کرده و روزی یکبار تمام زخمها و دهان کبوتر را با آن شستشو دهید.

این بیماری را نباید با تریکوموناس اشتباه گرفت.در بیماری تریکوموناس دانه های زرد رنگی در گلو و دهان کبوتر پدید می آید که درمان آن توسط مترونیدازول انجام می گیرد.
