مراسم سالگرد درگذشت پروفسور حسين ميرشمسي برگزار شد
مراسم بزرگداشت سالگرد درگذشت پدر واكسن ايران، پروفسورحسين ميرشمسي در تالار دكتر حامدي دانشكده دامپزشكي دانشگاه تهران برگزار شد.
به گزارش عصر يکشنبه خبرنگار ايرنا، اين مراسم با هدف گراميداشت ياد اين دانشمند معاصر کشورمان با حضور رئيس سازمان دامپزشکي کشور، معاون موسسه سرم سازي رازي و تعدادي از اساتيد دامپزشکي دانشکده دامپزشکي دانشگاه کشور برگزار شد.
"حسين ميرشمسي"، بدليل نقش عمده اي که در ساخت سرم ضد ديفتري و واکسن هاي ضد سرخک، فلج اطفال و سه گانه داشته است، پدر واکسن ايران ناميده شده است.
رئيس سازمان دامپزشکي کشور در اين مراسم گفت: نحوه زندگي ميرشمسي، مي تواند الگوي مناسبي براي کساني که در اين حوزه فعاليت مي کنند، باشد.
"مجتبي نوروزي" در ادامه اين مراسم پيام وزير جهاد کشاورزي را قرائت کرد.
در بخشي از پيام "صادق خليليان" آمده است: تلاش ميرشمسي در توانمندسازي کشور در عرصه توليد واکسن و دارو هرگز از ياد نمي رود، بي شک اين شخصيت ممتاز، مصداق بارز توام سازي تلاش مجدانه علمي با خدمت رساني خالصانه به محرومان است.
معاون موسسه سرم سازي رازي درباره ويژگي هاي شخصيتي ميرشمسي نيز گفت: اشان داراي مديريتي نافذ و اثربخش بودند و با کمترين امکانات خطرناک ترين آزمايش ها انجام مي دادند.
از آثار بجا مانده از ميرشمسي، مي توان به تاليف 3 جلد کتاب در رابطه با ويروس شناسي عمومي، اصول ايمني شناسي و پيشگيري و درمان و ارائه و چاپ 121 مقاله به زبان هاي انگليسي و فرانسه در کنفرانس ها و نشريه هاي بين المللي و چاپ مقالات متعدد به زبان فارسي در نشريات داخلي اشاره کرد.
