جفت ماندگي :
جفت به طور طبيعي ، در طي ساعتي پس از زايمان خارج مي شود و برخلاف گاوها، جفت ماندگي در شتر غير معمول است. برخي معتقدند كه جفت ماندگي 24 ساعت بيشتر كشنده است كه اين موضوع صحيح نمي باشد و مرگ در اثر متريت احتمالاً بخاطر دست كاري مردم عوام بدون رعايت بهداشت صورت مي گيرد .

پرولايس رحم و واژن :
هيچ اطلاعاتي در مورد پرولايس رحم وجود ندارد ولي پرولايس واژن امري عادي است . اگرچه معمولاً در شتراني كه در مرتع چرا مي كنند رخ مي دهد ولي احتمالاً در حيواناتي كه در محوطه اي نگهداري و از يونجه و جو به مقدار زياد تغذيه مي كنند بيشتر ديده مي شود. اعراب پرولاپس واژن را با جا انداختن واژن و سپس با بكار بردن يك فتق بند كه فشار كافي روي ميان دو راه مي آورد اصلاح مي كنند . در اين مورد مواردي كه با به كار بردن بيحسي اپيدورال و روش بوهنر Buhner در بخيه زير جلدي فرج ( مشابه با روش كاربردي در گاو ) اصلاح شده اند نيز گزارش شده است .
