کوتاه کردن ناخن ایگوانا

یکی از مواردی که باید برای نگهداری ایگوانا دقت کرد کوتاه کردن مستمر ناخن های این خزنده هست

ناخن های ایگوانا معمولا رشد بالایی دارد

اگر تجربه به دست گرفتنشون رو داشته باشید زود متوجه میشید که با ناخن های تیزشان می توانند زخم های سطحی روی پوست ایجاد کنند و اگه ایگوانا بالغ و بزرگ باشد ممکن است

این زخم ها بدتر هم باشد

البته کوتاه کردن ناخن ها صرفا به این دلیل نیست بلکه برای این هست که ایگوانا در زندگی طبیعی با حرکات زیاد روی درخت ها و سنگ ها ناخن خود را کوتاه می کند اما در شرایط اسارت

این ناخن ها رشد زیادی می کنند و ممکن است در صورت حرکات شدید آسیب جدی به انگشت هایش بزند.

در گرفتن ناخن باید به نکته های خیلی مهمی توجه کنیم

1. مطمئن باشیم حیوان استرس ندارد و آرامش دارد و یا به اصطلاح ریلکس هست

2. اگر ایگوانای شما دستی نیست باید از کسی برای جلوگیری از حرکات شدید و ناگهانی حین گرفتن ناخن به شما کمک کند

3. برای گرفتن ناخن باید با استفاده از نور چراغ یا چراغ قوه محل اتمام رگ های خونی در ناخن ها رو پیدا کنیم و از 2 میلی متر جلوتر ناخن رو کوتاه کنیم ( معمولا گرفتن ناخن را بعد از گرفتن

حمام حیوان توصیه می کنند چون ناخن خیلی نرم می شود و کوتاه کردن رو آسون تر می کند)
