آشنایی با اردک سرسفید

بیائید با هم به دیدار اردکی برویم به نام اردک سر سفید:
پرنده نر با سری سفید و نوک آبی و پرنده ماده با راه های سفید و قهوه ای سربه راحتی از سایر اردک ها قابل تشخیص است. اردک سرسفید به ایران مهاجرت می کند و در برخی از تالاب های کشور نظیر قوری گل تخم می گذارد. در واقع ایران شرقی ترین منطقه پراکنش این پرنده است.
اردک سرسفید را گونه ای به نام اردک سرخ تهدید می کند. در واقع اردک سرخ بومی آمریکای شمالی است که برای نگهداری در باغ پرندگان به انگلستان منتقل شد. ۱۰ قطعه از این پرندگان فرار کردند و در مدت کوتاهی جمعیتشان به طرز شگفت آوری افزایش یافت. مهمترین تهدید جمعیت اردک های سرسفید، تولید مثل با اردک های سرخ است، پرندگان دورگه حاصل از این جفتگیری قدرت تولید مثل دارند و بیم آن می رود پس از مدت کوتاهی اردک سرسفید خالصی وجود نداشته باشد. برنامه هایی پر هزینه برای نجات نسل اردک سرسفید این گونه با ارزش اروپایی به مورد اجرا گذاشته شده که موفقیت آمیز نیز بوده است. خوشبختانه هنوز در ایران اردک سرخ مشاهده نشده است.
