انواع ابتدایی ، بدون بال و بدون دگردیسی هستند.

راسته پرتورا

فاقد شاخک بوده و اولین جفت پاهای حرکتی به اندامهای حسی مبدل گشته اند. فاقد چشم ساده و مرکب و دارای چشم کاذب هستند. لوله های مالپیگی به صورت برجستگیهای کوچکی تحلیل رفته اند. سیستم تراشه ای ساده بوده و یا اصلا فاقد آن می باشند. بدن 12 مفصلی و فاقد زایده سرسی است. پیش از کامل شدن تعداد مفاصل شکمی از تخم خارج شده لذا اصطلاحا آنامورف هستند..

راسته دیپلورا

این راسته را آپتر نیز می نامند. بدن کوچک و نرمی داشته و محیطهای تاریک و مرطوب را ترجیح می دهد. دارای شاخک طویل و فاقد چشم اند. شکم 11 مفصلی و دارای سرسی است. لوله های مالپیگی پاپیلایی شکل می باشند.

راسته کلمبولا

دارای بدنی نرم و کوچک و شاخکهای کوتاه می باشند. چشمهای مرکب کوچک و یا تحلیل رفته اند. معمولا جهنده بوده و این عمل را بواسطه عضو جهنده خاصی انجام می دهند. فاقد سرسی شکلی و لوله های مالپیگی می باشند. پوست اندازی به صورت اپی مورف است. یعنی تعداد مفاصل شکمی جانور به هنگام خروج از تخم کامل می باشند از این راسته جنس انوتوموبریا را می توان نام برد.

راسته تیزانورا

خصوصیات بسیار نزدیک با راسته تیزانورا دارد و اصطلاحا دم مویی نامیده می شوند. اعضای راسته تیزانورا که ماهی نقره ای نیز نامیده می شوند. دارای بدن نسبتا طویل و فلس داری می باشند. شاخکها طویل و چشمهای مرکب رشد کرده اند. تعداد مفاصل شکمی 12 عدد بوده و در انتها به سرسی طویلی ختم می شود و لوله های مالپیگی و تراشه ها بسیار رشد یافته اند. از این راسته جنس ترموبیوس را می توان ذکر کرد.
