تولید پوست انسان با استفاده از سلولهای بنیادی

محققان با استفاده از سلول های بنیادی جنینی موفق به ساخت پوست انسان شده اند که می تواند به بیماران سوختگی بسیار شدید کمک کند
دانشمندان مدعی هستندسلولهای بنیادی که آنها روی موش ها کار گذاشته اند 12 هفته بعد به صورت پوست کامل انسان درآمده است. محققان می گویند آنها با این روش می توانند پوست بیمارانی را که دچار سوختگی بسیار شدید هستند بازسازی کنند.
طی 20سال گذشته در موارد مشابه دانشمندان از روش دیگری برای ترمیم پوست بیماران استفاده می کردند. در این روش پوست جدید با استفاده از بخشی از پوست خود بیماران در آزمایشگاه کشت داده و تولید می شود.
در این روش امکان دارد تا مرحله ساخته شدن کامل پوست و تعبیه آن روی بدن بیمار، ناحیه های سوختگی دچار عفونت شوند و علاوه بر آن این امکان که بدن پوست جدید را پس بزند، وجود دارد.
در روش جدید، دانشمندان قدم های بیولوژیک تولید پوست را تسریع کرده اند. آنها سلول ها را روی یک تور مصنوعی قرار دادند که به تولید پوست کمک می کند. این شبکه سپس به بدن موش ها منتقل شد و 12 هفته بعد پوستی به دست آمد که کاملا همانند پوست انسان است.
محققان می گویند با استفاده از این روش می توان به اندازه کافی پوست انسان تولید کرد تا در مواقعی که سوختگی شدید در افراد به وجود می آید بلافاصله از آن استفاده شود.
