توصیه هایی برای افرادی که دارای حیوانات خانگی هستند

1 - دکتر دامپزشک بهترین فردی است که می تواند شما را در مورد نحوه نگهداری حیوانات خانگی و مسائل و نکات بهداشتی مرتبط راهنمایی کند. البته بهتر است قبل از آن برای خود دلیل قانع کننده ای نسبت به نگهداری از حیوان داشته باشید.

2 - اظهار نظر در مورد مسائل بهداشتی و نگهداری از حیوانات خانگی ، نحوه پیشگیری از ابتلای به بیماریهای قابل انتقال بین حیوان و انسان صرفاً در صلاحیت دکتر دامپزشک است و بس!

3 - با مراجعه منظم و حداقل هر شش ماه یکبار به کلینیک دامپزشکی و انجام مراقبت های پیشگیرانه خطر خاصی از نظر بیماریهای قابل انتقال بین حیوان و انسان وجود نخواهد داشت.

4 - اظهار نظر در مورد مسائل شرعی مرتبط با حیوانات صرفاً در صلاحیت کارشناسان مبرز دینی است و وارد نمودن سلیقه و تعصب در این زمینه جایگاهی ندارد.

براساس تحقیقات این پژوهشگران، نگهداری از انواع پرنده، سگ، گربه،* همستر، سنجاب و... به شرطی که محل مخصوصی برای نگهداری از آنها در خانه وجود داشته باشد، مشکل آفرین نیست ولی اگر محل زندگی این حیوانات و افراد خانواده مشترک باشد، می *تواند سلامت افراد را به خطر بیندازد، به طوری که ریزش مو و پر این حیوانات می *تواند موجب بیماری* های تنفسی و پوستی شود و محل زندگی مشترک حیوانات خانگی و انسان می *تواند عاملی برای انتقال بیماری* ها باشد.
متخصصان به مردم توصیه می *کنند اگر مایل به نگهداری از حیوانات در خانه هستند حتما مکانی را برای نگهداری حیوان در خانه در نظر بگیرند و مواظب تماس کودکان با حیوانات خانگی باشند، چون بغل کردن و بوسیدن حیوان به وسیله کودکان، تهدیدی برای سلامت کودک محسوب می* شود.
حیوانات خانگی ممکن است مورد علاقه اعضای خانواده باشند، اما می توانند دردسرهایی را هم برای شما ایجاد کنند از جمله سرایت آلودگی میکروبی و انگلی و دیگری آلرژی به آنها.
اگر حیوان خانگی دارید، برای جلوگیری از این انتقال میکروب ها و انگل ها این نکات را رعایت کنید:
1- همیشه دست هایتان را به طور کامل پس از نوازش حیوان بشویید.
2- هنگام تمیز کردن قفس ها یا جعبه فضولات دستکش به دست کنید.
3- وان، ظرف یا مناطقی که حیوان را در آن حمام کرده اید یا برس زده اید ضد عفونی کنید.
4- به کودکان اجازه ندهید دست های کثیفشان را به دهان ببرند. خاک یا مدفوع حیوانات بر روی زمین ممکن است با لارو یا تخم انگل ها آلوده شده باشد.


5- فضولات سگ و گربه را روزانه از حیاط جمع کنید ، به خصوص در نواحی ای که هم کودکان و هم حیوانات در آن بازی می کنند.


6- جعبه شن محل دفع حیوانات را بپوشانید.


7- هیچ گاه حیوانات وحشی را به عنوان حیوان خانگی نگه ندارید.
