لاک پشت های گرفتار در آبگیرهای پتروشیمی های عسلویه با همکاری منطقه ویژه پارس و پتروشیمی مبین با سازمان محیط زیست استان بوشهر، نجات یافتند.
http://www.hakimemehr.ir/upload_images/images_medium/lakpo91pet1_0_48983.jpgمیزان آب ورودی آبگیر پتروشیمی مبین در شبانه روز چهار برابر مصرف آب تهران است و بر اثر این حجم آب ورودی، لاک پشت ها در برخی روزهای سال وارد آبگیر و گرفتار می شوند.

لاک پشت های منقار عقابی از جمله حیوانات در خطر انقراض هستند و حفظ جان آنها از سوی سازمان های بین المللی مورد تاکید قرار گرفته است.
