برای سال 1391 آمادگی*های لازم برای تولید 300 هزار قطعه بچه*ماهی تیلاپیا و ورود آن به بخش آبزی*پروری وجود دارد.رئیس مؤسسه تحقیقات شیلات کشور با اعلام این مطلب گفت: تیلاپیا از موجودات آبزی جدیدی است که به لیست محصولات شیلاتی کشور از سال 91 رسماً اضافه می*شود.
دکتر عباسعللی مطلبی افزود: هرچند در حال حاضر نیز در فروشگاه*های زنجیره*ای تیلاپیای وارداتی موجود است، اما پیش*بینی می*شود که به*زودی تولیدات داخلی کشورمان نیز راهی بازار شود.
وی خاطرنشان کرد: سازمان شیلات کشور پس از لحاظ مطالعات زیست*محیطی در استان یزد، پایلوت مولدسازی و تولید بچه*ماهی تیلاپیا را به انجام رساند.
مطلبی ادامه داد: تولید این آبزی در مناطق کویری و مرکزی کشور نیز در اولویت*های بعدی کار است.
وی تصریح کرد: مطالعات مختلف زیست*محیطی در حال انجام است تا بتوانیم این آبزی را در هر استانی که شرایط لازم را داشته باشد، پرورش دهیم.

این مقام مسئول یادآور شد: سمنان، کرمان، جیرفت و کهنوج و مناطقی از غرب کشور می*توانند پرورش*دهنده این آبزی باشند و آمادگی*های لازم در آنها وجود دارد.
مطلبی از توفیق مؤسسه تحقیقات شیلات کشور در تک*جنسی کردن تیلاپیا خبر داد و تأکید کرد: برای سال 1391 با قراردادهای منعقدشده، آمادگی لازم برای تولید 300 هزار قطعه بچه*ماهی تیلاپیا ایجاد شده است و محیط زیست نیز در تمامی مراحل نیز حضور دارد.
وی اظهار داشت: در حال حاضر مولدسازی، تکثیر و تولید بچه*ماهی در یزد در حال انجام است و همزمان با آن، پروژه*های مختلفی در زمینه فرآوری، تولید محصولات متنوع و روش تهیه این آبزی به*گونه*ای که مورد پسند مردم واقع شود، در حال انجام است.
مطلبی در پایان گفت: پیش*بینی می*شود که سال 1391 برای عرضه ماهی تیلاپیا سال درخشانی باشد و این آبزی بتواند خود را در سبد مصرفی خانوار جای دهد.
