واكسن مالاريا در موش توليد شد

دانشمندان در جستجو براي يافتن يك واكسن موثر و ايمن عليه مالاريا به موفقيت چشمگيري دست يافتند.

به گزارش ساينس ديلي، "ريچارد پليز" و همكارانش از موسسه ژنتيك دانشگاه ناتينگهام، از تهيه نخستين مدل حيواني مطمئن براي مطالعه مالارياي انساني و همچنين تهيه شيوه درماني بديعي خبر دادند.

دانشمندان خون گروهي از افراد را كه بطور طبيعي نسبت به اين بيماري ايمني دارند گرفتند و با استفاده از يك سامانه جديد آزمايش حيواني اقدام به اصلاح و تقويت پادتن*هاي ضد مالاريا كردند. در اين سامانه آزمايش حيواني براي نخستين بار به تقليد از نحوه بروز مالاريا در انسان ، اين بيماري در موشها ايجاد شد.

تزريق پادتن به موش آنها را در برابر مالاريا محافظت كرد.

پليز و همكارانش در لندن، استراليا و هلند يك انگل موش را گرفته و دست به اصلاح ژنتيكي آن زدند تا پادگن آشنا براي دستگاه ايمني بدن انسان نظر ژنتيكي توليد كنند.

دانشمندان اقدام به اصلاح ژنتيكي دستگاه ايمني بدن موش*ها كردند تا يك "مولكول انساني" بر روي گلبولهاي سفيد خون خود توليد كند، بطوري كه اين مولكول انساني انگل را بشناسد و با كمك پادتن*ها انگل را نابود كند.

اين گروه تحقيقاتي در آزمايشهاي خود نشان دادند پادتن*هاي انساني تزريق شده به موش*ها آنها را در برابر اين انگل محافظت مي*كند.

نتايج اين تحقيقات در شماره اخير مجله "‪ "PLoS Pathogens‬به چاپ رسيده است.
