وجود ژن يادگيري زبان گفتاري در پرندگان

گروهی از دانشمندان آلمانی موفق شدند برای اولین بار نشان دهند که پرندگان نغمه سرا برای یادگیری و خواندن آواز تحت تاثیرات ژنتیکی همان ژنی هستند که در انسان مسئول یادگیری زبان گفتاری است.

زیست شناسان موسسه ماکس پلانک آلمان و دانشگاه "آزادی" در برلین که نتایج تحقیقات خود را در مجله PLoS Biology منتشر کرده اند، برپایه مطالعات ژنتیکی یادگیری زبان گفتاری و آسیب های آن از یک مدل حیوانی استفاده کردند. این دانشمندان نشان دادند که پرندگان نغمه سرا می توانند به عنوان یک مدل مناسب برای مطالعه تاثیرات ژنتیکی یادگیری زبان گفتاری مورد استفاده قرار گیرند. درحقیقت این محققان با انتخاب پرنده نغمه سرای "سهره گوره خری" نشان دادند که این پرنده نیز همانند کودکان که برای استفاده از زبان گفتاری خود نیاز به یادگیری دارند، باید آوازخواندن را یاد بگیرد. در این آزمایش مشخص شد که در فضای X مغز این پرندگان بیان های مختلفی از ژنی با عنوان FoxP2 وجود دارد. ژن FoxP2 در انسان نیز بیان می شود و یکی از عملکردهای مهم آن تولید و درک زبان و توسعه عملکردهای مغز در فرایند یادگیری زبان گفتاری است. این دانشمندان سطوح بیان این ژن را در فضای X مغز نمونه های جوان این گونه پرنده ای قبل از اینکه این پرندگان جوان آواز خواندن را بیاموزند، کاهش دادند و مشاهده کردند که آواز این پرندگان بسیار ناهنجارتر از نمونه های نرمال است. به گفته این دانشمندان، با تائید نتایج این آزمایش از این پس محققان تحقیقات زبانشناسی ژنتیکی می توانند از این مدل حیوانی استفاده کنند.
