پروتئين نزاع طلبي در موشهاي نر

گروهی از دانشمندان آمریکایی برای اولین بار نوعی "فرومن" را کشف کردند که در موشهای نر مسئول "نزاع طلبی" است.

فرومونها موادی با ماهیت پروتئینی هستند که منشاء بوی ادرار و بدن بوده و می توانند رفتارهای اجتماعی ویژه ای را در تمام حیوانات تحریک کنند و باعث جاذبه و دافعه جانوران و انسان شوند. به تازگی گروهی از دانشمندان موسسات ملی بهداشت و موسسه ملی ناشنوایی و دیگر ناهنجاریهای ارتباطی کالیفرنیا که نتایج تحقیقات خود را در تازه ترین شماره مجله "نیچر" منتش کرده اند، در موشهای آزمایشگاهی نر نوعی ترکیبات "فرومن" را شناسایی کردند که مسئول بروز رفتارهای نزاع طلبی است. این پروتئین که با نام علمی Mup (پروتئین ادراری اصلی) معرفی شده است در ادرار حاضر است. این دانشمندان در این خصوص اظهار داشتند: "گیرنده های فرومن در دو اندام مجزا واقع شده اند. این اندامها در حفره های بینی قرار گرفته اند. یکی از آنها، اندام تیغه بینی (Vno) و دیگری مخاط اصلی بویایی (Moe) است. هریک از این فرومنها نورونهای حاضر در این فضاها را فعال می کنند." مکانیزم این پدیده تاکنون ناشناخته بود اما اکنون این دانشمندان موفق شدند نشان دهند که پروتیئنهای ادرار که محتوی "فرومنهای فریاد و خشم" هستند تنها نورون های اندام Vno را فعال می کنند و با فعال شدن این اندام خصوصیت رفتاری "نزاع طلبی" در موشهای نر تحریک می شود. به اعتقاد این دانشمندان، پدیده نزاع طلبی و درگیر شدن در مردان نیز می تواند ریشه در این پروتئین داشته باشد.
