لاک پشت

امروزه زندگی در مجتمع های مسکونی وآپارتمانی کهنگهداری سگ وگربه در آنها ممنوع یا مشکل میباشد باعث شده که لاک پشتبعنوان حیوان خانگی که سروصدایی ندارد جهت سرگرمی کودکان مطرح شود.جالباینکه این جانوربی آزارمیتواندتا صد سال یا بیشتر عمر کند.ولی گاهی مرگآنها خیلی سریع فرا میرسد و بایدعلت جستجو گردد.صدمات ناشی از حمل،گرسنگیوشرایطبد نگهداری آنها در منازل و نامتعادل بودن هوای محیط مهمترین عواملهستند.

این حیوان برای اینکه به خواب زمستانی فرو رودباید درونش خالی از طعامباشد به همین علت در طبیعت هشت روز قبل از اینکه به آرامش زمستانی برسدخوراکی نمی خورددر حالیکه در اسارت اکثر بچه ها تا آخرین ساعات به بازیچهخود غذا میخورانندو حتی برای خواب زمستانی آنها نیز جای مناسبی را تدارکنمی بینند آنها از تشک معمولی یا ماسه نرم یا خاک اره ،بعنوان بستراستفاده میکنند ودر حالی که هر سه اینها برای استراحت حیوان نامناسب است .
لاک پشت برای اینکه خواب آرام و مداومی داشته باشد باید در محلی به خوابرود که گرمای آن بین 5تا8 درجه سانتیگرادباشد.ممکن است این پرسش مطرحشودکه آیا لاک پشت هایی که همنشین انسان شده اند میتوانند از خواب زمستانیخود چشم بپوشند؟ جواب کاملا منفی است زیرا بر اساس تحقیقات انجام شدهتعداد مرگ ومیر در لاک پشت هایی که به خواب زمستانی فرو نرفته اند دوبرابر بیشتر است.برای اینکه این جانور عمر طولانی تری داشته باشد در درجهاول بايد غذاهاي متنوع و غنی از ويتامين در اختيار داشته باشد .کاهو غذایاصلی و بقیه سبزیجات غذای جنبی او را تشکیل می دهند .فقدان ویتامین ها وکلسیم ، غذاهای بشیار سرد یا آلوده به سم که برای مبارزه با حشرات و آفاتگیاهی به کار می روند ناراحتی ها و زخمهایی در معده حیوان بوجود می آوردکهاغلب به مرگ حیوان منجر میشود.کوران شدید هوا،مرطوب ونمناک بودن بیش از حدمحل زندگی و پائین بودن حرارت محیط آنها را به سرعت به بیماریهای ریویمبتلا میسازد.

اکثر مکانهایی که برای نگهداری آنها انتخاب میشود تنگ وکوچک هستند درحالیکه نباید در چنین جایی زندگی کند و به اسارت خویش آگاه گردد.مکانی بهعرض وطول 4 متر میتواند جای مناسبی برای زیست این حیوان باشد در حالیکه دراثر نا آگاهی صاحبان در قوطی یادر داخل کارتن نگهداری میشوند.تاسف آور تراینکه حتی فروشندگان این حیوان نیز تمایلی به کسب آگاهی و طرق نگهداری لاکپشت از خود نشان نمیدهند.

باید گفت که لاک پشت اسباب بازی نیست و اگر انسانی مسئولیت نگهداری اینحیوان رادر منزل به عهده میگیرد می بایست قبل از خرید ،اطلاعاتی در موردطرز نگهداری و حفاظت آن در برابر بیماریها و مرگ کسب کند و فقط در اینصورت میتواند لاک پشت خود را سالها به سلامت برای خود نگهدارد.

اجداد لاک پشت ها دردوره ای که دایناسورها زندگی کردهاند یعنی 90میایونسال قبل می زیسته اند و این حیوانات بخاطر سر سختی و مقاوم بودنشان و نیزسازگاری بسیار بالا در سالهای طولانی حیات بقا یافته اند.

احتمال داده می شود که ماده ها هنگامی که به سن 50-30سالگی میرسندتخمگذاری را شروع میکنند ولی این امر بطور دقیق مشخص نشده است .بین هر دودوره تخمگذاری معمولا2 تا 4 سال فاصله وجود دارد اما ماده تا سنین100-70سالگی قابلیت تولید مثل را دارا است . جالب این است که معمولا مادهها به همان محلی که به دنیا آمده اند برای تخمگذاری باز میگردند.

وزن متوسط لاک پشت های تخمگذار از 136کیلو تجاوز کرده و متوسط طول آنها یکمتر یا بیشتر است آنها در هر دوره تخمگذاری حدود110تخم میگذارند پس ازتخمگذاری حدود 55 روز بعد تخمها تبدیل به نوزاد میشود.اصولا خزندگان ازجمله لاک پشتها از تمیز ترین حیوانات به شمار می آیند زیرا هیچگونه بوی نامطبوعی ندارند .لاک پشت ها ممکن است بعلت تمایلی که به گیاهان و سبزیجاتنشان می دهند گلهای باغچه ویا گلخانه را از بین ببرند ولی به هر حال توصیهمی شود که آنها در فضای آزاد مثل باغچه ها نگهداری شوندولی غذایشان ازمنابع دیگری تامین گردد.

رها کردن آنها در باغ این مشکل را دارد که ممکن است در اندک زمانی ناپدیدشده یا از سوراخی فرار کند ودر هنگام شروع فصل پائیز باید حیوان در مکانیمهار شود چون به خواب زمستانی فرو خواهدرفت

وبرای این منظور چنانچه قسمتی از باغ یا حیاط سیم کشی و محصورگردد بهتراست گلخانه نیز مکان بسیار مناسبی برای نگهداری این حیوان است.

اگر برای مدتی لاک پشت خود را در منطقه معینی از باغ غذادهید حیوان بزودیعادت کرده و هر روز برای گرفتن غذا به همان نقطه مراجعت میکند.غذاهایمختلف ومتنوعی باید به این حیوان داده سود از جمله گیاهان و سبزیها مانندکاهو،کرفس،کلم،گوجه فرنگیو غیره در ضمن آب آشامیدنی نیز نباید فراموشگردد.

اگر لاک پشت بصورت آزادانه نگهداری میشود یک گودال کوچک که بتواند بهراحتی در آن وارد و خارج شود مناسب است . طرز تشخیص لاک پشت نر از مادهبراحتی میسر است ابتدا لاک پشت را بصورت وارونه در دست بگیرید ئبه پوششیکه زیر شکم را فرا گرفته نگاه کنید. لاک زیر شکم نر ،بیضی شکل ومحدب استولی لاک زیر شکم ماده ها پهن میباشد.

لاک پشت ماده پس از جفتگیری با دو پای عقبی خود که دارای ناخنهای قویهستند زمین را میکند وتخم ها را در عمق 12 سانتی متری آن میگذارد وبا دقتوحوصله خاکها را سر جای خود ریخته و زمین را مسطح میکند بطوریکه محال استکسی بتواند به وجود آنها پی ببرد.معمولا نوزادان از 4 تا 8 هفته بعد سر ازتخم در می آورند آنها را باید درون یک محفظه قراز داد و یک فنجان آب نیزدر کنار آنها گذاشت.هر روز باید مدتی مقابل نور خورشید قرار بگیرند تا قویشوند.
