اجتماع 200 نفر در اعتراض به کشتار 150 گاو

رسانه*های مکزیک از اجتماع اعتراض*آمیز 200 نفر از فعالان حقوق حیوانات در پایتخت این کشور خبر داده و اعلام کردند: علت اعتراض این افراد کشتار بی*رحمانه 150 گاو در مسابقات گاوبازی بوده است.
«لئونورا اسکوئی ول»، رییس گروه حفاظت از حقوق حیوانات مکزیک در مصاحبه*ای با رسانه*های دولتی این کشور گفت: 200 نفر از معترضان و فعالان حقوق حیوانات با تجمع در «مکزیکوسیتی» ـ پایتخت مکزیک ـ نسبت به کشتار 150 گاو در جشن سالانه «پلازا مکزیکو» اعتراض خود را اعلام کردند.
وی خاطر نشان کرد:*این افراد در حالی که در خون مصنوعی غوطه*ور بودند و باندهای خون*آلود و قرمز به خود بسته بودند، اعلام کردند که کشتار سالانه این تعداد حیوان ناعادلانه است. در این تجمع اعتراض*آمیز زنان، مردان، پیران و جوانان شرکت داشتند.
به گزارش خبرگزاری فرانسه، «پلازا مکزیکو» یکی از بزرگترین مناطق در زمینه گاوبازی و جنگ گاوهاست. به طوری که هر ساله بیش از 50 هزار نفر از سراسر جهان به ویژه ایالات متحده آمریکا برای شرکت در این جشن شرکت می*کنند.
همچنین گاوبازی در مکزیک همانند کلمبیا، اکوادور، فرانسه، پرو، پرتغال، اسپانیا و ونزوئلا یک فعل قانونی است، اما اکثریت مدافعان حقوق حیوانات با این روند مخالفت می*کنند.
