چند نكته در مورد نگهداري طوطي

اول از همه فوري سعي نكنين تو دست بگيرينش. بهش فرصت بدين به اندازه كافيباهاتون اشنا بشه. بعد كه احساس كردين كه ديگه شما رو به خوبي ميشناسه بازهم وقتي ميخواين تو دست بگيرينش دستكش دستون كنين. اين كار دو دليل داره .اول اينكه اونهايي كه كارشون تربيت طوطي هست ميگن كه دستكش به دست كردنباعث ميشه كه طوطي كمتر دچار استرس بشه و دوم اينكه خود شما هم از گازگرفتن ناگهاني در امان خواهيد بود. بعدها كه ديد خطري از جانب شما تهديدشنميكنه و عادت كرد ميتونيد بدون دستكش بگيرينش.
هر بار 10 تا 15 دقيقه و حداكثر دو بار در روز تعليمش بدين.
فقط خودتون به تنهايي بايد بهش اب و دونه بدين و به خصوص در دسترس بچه ها كه ممكنه ناخواسته باعث وحشتش بشن نذاريد.
اگر حركت بدي انجام داد و مثلا گازتون گرفت و يا به عنوان اعتراض شروعبه جيغ زدن كرد راحتش بگذاريد و دعوايش نكنيد و اگر موقعي كه تو دستتونبوده و به علامت اعتراض گازتون گرفته يا داد و فرياد راه انداخته خيلي بهارامي بزارينش زمين ولي به مدت 15 دقيقه تو تاريكي حبسش كنيد
سوت زدن و يا صحبت كردن با اطرافيان معمولا طوطي رو ترغيب به سوت زدنياصحبت كردن ميكنه. با كمي صبر وتحمل و تلاش طوطي ميتون يك چند كلمه اي ياسوت زدني رو ياد بگيره
از همون ابتدا بايد بهش ياد بدين كه جيغ نزنه. هر موقع شروع به جيغ زدن كرد محلش نذاريد
يادتون باشه كه زيادهم نبايد تنبيه بشه و يا تو تاريكي بمونه چونافسردگي ميگيره و ميميره. اما هميشه پاداش دادن رو به خاطر داشته باشين.
معمولا پرنده زماني كه نياز به شستشو داشته باشد پرهاي خودش را بازميكند و بدنش خودش را مدام به درون ظرف آبش ميبرد ، در اين لحظه ميتوانيدمتوجه شويد كه پرنده به شستشو نياز دارد.
با يك آب پاش ( مثلا ظرف شيشه شوها ) هر هفته يا دو هفته يك بار آبرا به صورت باران بر سر پرنده بريزيد و آن را شستشو دهيد تا پرهاي او دچارشوره نشود. اصلا نگران نباشيد در مورد طوطي هاي سبز ميتوانيد كاملا آنهارا خيس كنيد ، پرنده به هيچ عنوان ناراحتي از اين لحاظ احساس نميكند بعدپرنده را در جاي گرم جا جلوي آفتاب بگذاريد تا خودش را خشك نمايد. (البتهمراقب باشيد سينوزيت نگيرد)
حنجره اين طوطي ها به فركانس هاي خاصي حساس ميباشند ، در زبان فارسيصداهايي كه در اين فركانس قرار ميگيرند ( در مورد طوطي سبز ) اينها هستند:
خ ، ب ، ر ، گ ، ش ، او ، ي
كلمات تركيبي كه با اين كلمات ساخته ميشوند را اگر به صورت مكرر به طوطي خود بگوييد ميتوانيد شاهد تكرار كلمات توسط او باشيد.
كلماتي مثل " برو " ، " بيا " ، " سلام " ،*" خداحافظ" و ...
اين قبيل كلمات تركيبي رو طوطي به خوبي ياد ميگيره و بهتره شما نيز با اين كلمات شروع كنيد.
سعي كنيد كلمه اي كه با طوطي خود شروع ميكنيد را تا انتهاي روز به پيش ببريد.
شما بايد ظهر ها و شب ها پرنده را به يك مكان خلوت و تنها ببريد تا پرنده با خودش خلوت كند.
در مورد طوطي هاي سبز متاسفانه يادگيري مانند طوطي هاي سفيد كاكلي بهصورت فراگير نيست ، يعني شما بايد بسيار با طوطي خود كار كنيد تا بتوانيدبه آن كلمه اي را ياد بدهيد. اما در مورد طوطي هاي سفيد كاكلي اصلا به اينشكل نيست ، اين طوطي ها با شنيدن جملات و كلمات مداوم روزانه از زبانانسانهاي كه در منزل در تكاپو هستند و آن جملات و كلمات را مدام تكرارميكنند خودشان قابليت فراگيري را دارند و بعد از مدتي ميتوانيد شاهد صحبتكردن او باشيد.
طوطي خاكستري يا كاسكو يه حيوان باهوش و فوق العاده و احساساتي استسريع حرف زدن رو ياد مي گيرد و اگر از جوجگي با انسانها درارتباط نزديكباشد زود به شما اخت پيدا مي كند اما دردسرهاي مخصوص به خودش رودارد بههيچ وجه نبايد نگهداري كاسكو رو با نگهداري هر پرنده ديگه مثل مرغ عشق وعروس هلندي و كفتر فنچ اشتباه بگيريد! اين حيوان خيلي حساس وحسود است وحتي بيشتر از يك سگ به مراقبت و نگهداري نيازدارد اين حيوان باهوش خيليسريع تشخيص مي دهد كه اعضاي يك خانواده دوستش ندارند .

هنگام خريد به نكات زير حتما توجه كافي داشته باشيد :

1: فعاليت پرنده: پرنده بايد حتما به اندازه كافي در قفس فعاليت داشتهباشه و نسبت به محيط واكنش نشان بدهد پرنده افسرده را نخريد وگرنه هزارانمشكل با آن خواهيد داشت و يادتان باشد افسردگي در طوطي ممكن است عواقبوخيمي داشته باشد

2: چشمها : چشمها بايد كاملا درخشنده و تميز باشند و نبايد كدر يا پرده دار يا پوشيده از قي باشند

3: پرها: پرها بايد پرپشت درخشنده و نرم و تميز باشند .... طوطي هايافسرده ممكن است پرهاي خودرا بكنند ( در اين مواقع از گردنبند اليزابتاستفاده مي شود كه مانند محفظي دور بدن حيوان را مي گيرد تادسترسي بهپرهايش نداشته باشد ) و يا كچلي ممكن است ناشي از يك بيماري انگلي باشد

4: انگشتهاي پا: حواستان باشد انگشتها سالم و سرجاي خودشان باشندفقدان انگشت كلي از تحرك طوطي را كم كرده و فعاليتش را مختل مي كندهمانطور كه مي دانيد طوطي از انگشتهاي پايش خيلي استفاده مي كند

5:منقار: منقار پرنده بايد صاف و يكدست بوده و پوسته پوسته يا تركخورده يا هر علامتي كه نشان بيماريست نداشته باشد بالا و پايين منقار رابه دقت بررسي كنيد

6:محل دقع مدفوع حيوان بايد تميز بوده و فاقد پوستهاي اضافي يا التهاب باشد

7: حواستان باشد پرنده بازنشسته جاي جوجه غالب نكنند جوجه ها كميچشمانشان تيره تر است و پا ها و نوكشان لطيف تر است و زمختي پرنده بالغ ياپير را ندارد
