اولين اسب شبيه سازي شده دنيا كه در 28 مي 2003 متولد شد اكنون با تولد اولين كره اسب خود مادر شده است.
پرومتئا اولين اسب شبيه سازي شده دنيا در 28 مي سال 2003 در لابراتوار فناوري توليد مثل كنسرسيوم افزايش تكنيكهاي جانوري كرمونا در ايتاليا متولد شد.

پرومتئا برخلاف دالي اولين گوسفند شبيه سازي كه در اثر بيماري درگذشت كاملا سالم است و اكنون خود نيز مادر شده است.

در حقيقت اين حيوان يك ماه قبل كره اسبي با عنوان پگاسو (بر گرفته از نام پگاسوس اسب اسطوره اي هركول) را به دنيا آورد. چزاره گالي محقق و پدر پرومتئا و همچنين اولين گاو شبيه سازي شده با عنوان گاليله حال مادر و بچه را رضايت بخش اعلام كرد و گفت: كره اسب به خوبي رشد مي كند و پرومتئا نيز در سلامت كامل است و هيچ مشكلي ندارد.

اين كره اسب با روشهاي لقاح مصنوعي ايجاد شد. پدر اين كره اسب ابندفارست نام دارد.



براساس گزارش آنسا، پرومتئا در سال 2003 متولد شد و اكنون در آستانه پنجمين سال تولد قرار دارد. چزاره گالي در خصوص اولين اسب شبيه سازي شده دنيا توضيح داد: اين اسب سالم بوده و كاملا شبيه به يك حيوان عادي است.

پگاسو 17 مارس گذشته با يك زايمان طبيعي متولد شد. اين كره اسب حاصل لقاح مصنوعي تنها يك تخمك و يك اسپرم است.

پگاسو اولين پسر يك اسب شبيه سازي شده است و تولدش تائيد مي كند كه حيوانات شبيه سازي شده هم مي توانند به طور عادي رشد و به روشي طبيعي توليد مثل كنند.
