مخالفت مردم سوییس با تعیین وکیل برای حیوانات در دادگاه!

مردم سوییس با شرکت در یک همه پرسی به تعیین وکیل مدافع برای حیواناتی که با آنها بد رفتاری شده است در دادگاهها، در بیست و شش بخش این کشور رای منفی دادند.
ابتکار برگزاری چنین همه پرسی را سازمان حمایت از حیوانات سوییس مطرح کرده بود و هدف از اجرای آن نیز مجبور کردن همه بیست و شش بخش این کشور برای تعیین وکیل مدافعی برای دفاع از حیوانات اعلام شده بود.
یک وکیل مدافع برای دفاع از حیواناتی که با آنها بد رفتاری شده است از سال 1992 تاکنون در بخش زوریخ سوییس واقع در شمال این کشور وجود دارد و چنین وظیفه ای را انجام می دهد.
آنتوان گوتشل تاکنون چندین بار برای دفاع از سگ ها، گربه ها، گاوها، گوسفندها و حتی یک ماهی، به دادگاه رفته است.
وی می*گوید لازم است در مورد آنهایی که نمی*توانند از جانب خودشان صحبت کنند، عدالت رعایت شود.
گوتشل می*افزاید: از نظر من حیوانات یکی از ضعیف*ترین بخش*های جامعه اند و لازم است از آنان حمایت بیشتری بشود.
او می*گوید هر سال به طور متوسط به ‪ ۱۰۰‬پرونده مربوط به بیرحمی نسبت به حیوانات رسیدگی می*کند.
بر اساس این گزارش در زوریخ از سال ‪ ۱۹۹۲‬میلادی در مواردی که موضوع بیرحمی نسبت به حیوانات مطرح است، در نظر گرفتن وکیل مدافع برای حیوانات اجباری شده است ولی سوئیس هم اکنون دارای قوانین بسیار انعطاف ناپذیری در مورد رفاه حیوانات است و دولت سوئیس با توجه به این که هزینه گرفتن وکیل اجباری برای حیوانات را باید مالیات*دهندگان سوئیسی تامین کنند، از شرکت کنندگان در همه پرسی خواسته بود با این پیشنهاد مخالفت کنند.
