تابستان اولین موش ترانس‎ژنیک ایران تولید می‎شود

مدیر پروژه آزمایشگاه تولید موش تراریخت با تاکید براینکه تولید حیوانات ترانس ژنیک از مهمترین استراتژی*های مهم علمی هر کشوری است، گفت: نخستین موش ترانس ژنیک ایران اوایل تابستان تولید می*شود.
پروفسور کریم نیرنیا در حاشیه افتتاح مرکز ملی موش تراریخت در جمع خبرنگاران افزود: بررسی کاربرد ژنها و چگونگی عملکرد آنها یکی از مهمترین محورهایی است که در این مرکز به آنها پرداخته خواهد شد.
وی اظهار داشت: با توجه به عدم امکان بررسی این مسایل بر روی مدل*های انسانی می*توان بر روی مدل*های حیوانی کاربرد ژن*های مورد نظر را آزمایش کرد.
این پژوهشگر گفت: درآزمایشگاه تولید موش تراریخت در پژوهشگاه ملی مهندسی ژنتیک و زیست فناوری می*توان ژنهای بیماری زا مانند ژنهای تومور را به موش تزریق کرده و چگونگی بروز سرطانها را بررسی کرد.
به گفته نیرنیا بررسی عملکرد و بیان ژنهای مختلف بر روی موش از دیگر اقداماتی است که قرار است در این مرکز پژوهشی صورت بگیرد.
وی همچنین داروسازی را از دیگر کاربردهای این حیوانات ژنیک عنوان کرد و گفت : می*توان پروتئین خاصی را در بدن موش تولید و از طریق غدد شیری به دست آورد و همین فرایند را در حیوانات بزرگتر مانند بز گاو و گوسفند تکرار کرد.
وی نگهداری ساده و کم هزینه و شباهت فیزیولوژیکی موش به انسان را از جمله دلایل انتخاب این حیوان برای بررسی*های ژنتیکی عنوان کرد.
این عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه نیوکاسل انگلیس تولید سلولهای بنیادی را از دیگر کاربردهای موشهای ترانس ژن ذکر کرد و گفت: با استفاده از موشهای ترانس ژنیک می*توان نقش سلولهای بنیادی و چگونگی تبدیل آنها به دیگر سلول ها و همچنین کاربردی کرد این سلول*ها در ترمیم بافت*ها بررسی کرد.
مدیر پروژه آزمایشگاه ملی موش ترانس ژن با بیان اینکه پروژه تولید موشهای ترانس ژن در ‪ ۶‬فاز اجرایی می*شود، گفت: در حال حاضر محل آزمایشگاه ملی موش ترانس ژن مشخص و اجرای کامل این پروژه در ‪ ۶‬فار تعریف شده است که در حال حاضر فاز دوم طرح اجرایی شد.
وی اظهار داشت: با اجرایی شدن چهار فاز دیگر این پروژه، کلیه فرایند تولید موشهای دست ورزی شده از انتقال فناوری تا تولید آن تکمیل می*شود.
