تلاش محققان ایرانی برای ارتقای کیفیت شیر و گوشت گوسفند نژاد شال

رئیس مرکز تحقیقات کشاورزی و مراتع استان قزوین گفت: محققان این مرکز به منظور تکثیر و توسعه بهترین نژاد گوسفند گوشتی کشور به نام «شال» مطالعاتی را همراه با حدود 20 طرح تحقیقاتی در سطح کلان در دستور کار قرار دارند.
دکتر مهرزاد مستشاری اصلاح بذر، خاک شناسی و آبخیزداری، کنترل گواهی بذر، خاک و آب و اقتصاد کشاورزی را از بخش*های تحقیقاتی این مرکز نام برد و افزود: در حال حاضر 10 ایستگاه تحقیقاتی فعال در مرکز وجود دارد که بیشترین فعالیت آن بر اساس نیاز استان در چهار محور انگور، گیاهان دارویی، پسته و دام متمرکز شده است. وی مطالعه روی گوسفند نژاد «شال» را از مهمترین محورهای تحقیقاتی این مرکز در زمینه دام ذکر کرد و اظهار داشت: خاستگاه اصلی گوسفند نژاد شال در منطقه*ای به همین نام در شهرستان بوئین زهرا است. این نوع نژاد از جمله نژادهای گوشتی ایران است که دارای خصوصیات و ویژگی*های زیادی است.
مستشاری افزایش وزن روزانه این نژاد در دوره پرواربندی بین 280 تا 300 گرم را از جمله ویژگی*های این نژاد ذکر کرد و ادامه داد: علاوه بر اینها این نژاد دارای دوقلوزایی است به طوری که هر دو سال سه بار بچه*زایی دارند ولی سایر نژادها سالی یک بار بچه زایی دارند. وی با تأکید بر این*که گوسفند نژاد شال یکی از بهترین نژادهای گوشتی کشور شناخته شده است یادآور شد: از این رو در این مرکز ایستگاه تحقیقاتی در زمینه این گوسفند راه*اندازی کردیم و در آن تحقیقاتی درخصوص ارتقای کیفیت گوشت و شیر آن در حال اجرا است. علاوه بر این به منظور تکثیر و توسعه این نژاد حدود 20 طرح تحقیقاتی در سطح کلان در دستور کار قرار دادیم که در صورت حمایت اجرایی می*شود.
