چشمها

همواره در موقع شستشو و اصلاح بدن سگ ، باید مراقبت بود که هیچ نوع اجسام تحریک کننده وارد چشمها نشوند . همچنین در نژادهایی که چشمهای بزرگ و بیرون زده ای دارند باید دقت نمود که موهای بلند اطراف باعث خراشیدگی و آسیب دیدگی چشم نشوند . تحریکات مداومی که از سوی این موها بر سطح چشم وارد می شود می تواند باعث عفونتهای مزمن گردد . این قبیل سگها اغلب دارای چشمهایی قرمز و ترشح مختصری در گوشه آن هستند . برای رفع ترشحات می توان چشم را به آرامی و به وسیله یک تکه پنبه آغشته با آب جوشیده سرد شده و یا چای کمرنگ سرد شده شستشو داد . درموارد شدید که می تواند ناشی از ورود اجسام خارجی برگشتگی پلکها و سایربیماریها باشد مشورت با دامپزشک ضرورت می یابد .
