گربه آبی Ragdol

این نژاد از حدود سال 1960 در آمریکا شناخته شد. شهرت آن بدلیل علاقه اش به لمیدن در آغوش صاحبش است ، که البته این خصلت را می توان در هر گربه ای که نسبت به صاحبش اطمینان دارد یافت.

این طور ثبت شده که نژاد راگدُل حاصل آمیزش یک گربه مو بلند ایرانی (Persian) ماده با یک نر مخلوط در کالیفرنیا می باشد.

این جفتگیری پس از سانحه تصادف حیوان ماده و شکستن لگن وی اتفاق افتاد که البته بین شکستگی لگن و علاقه راگدُل به لمیدن در آغوش هیچ ارتباطی وجود ندارد!

خلق و خو:

راگدُل از محدود نژادهایی است که به دمر خوابیدن در آغوش انسانها علاقه زیادی دارد. به رسیدگی زیادی نیاز ندارد و به خوبی با محیط اطرافش تطابق می یابد.

آرام و مهربان است و حیوان خانگی ایده آلی می باشد.

توضیحات:

راگدُل ها در رنگهای متنوعی اعم از کرم ، شکلاتی ، چند رنگ و غیره یافت می شوند. موها معمولاً در قسمت پشت سر ، دم ، شکم و سینه بلندتر می باشند. رنگ چشمها در این نژاد اصولاً آبی است
